Annette Evans

Annette Evans (nee Ludwig) was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child, she loved to read the Nancy Drew Mysteries. In her teen years, she fell in love with the romance genre. Annette counts earlier Danielle Steel novels, Judith McNaught, and Linda Lael Miller among some of her favorite romance authors.

In her late 20's, Annette moved to the eastern shore of Maryland. That is when she began writing poetry. Two of her poems have been published in an anthology book. She quickly turned to writing fiction.

About this same time, she met and married a wonderful man, Jim. They, along with their blended family of three teenagers and three dogs, live on the picturesque eastern shore of Virginia. Annette is a full-time dental assistant for Eastern Shore Rural Health System. She is a volunteer EMT and is the secretary for the rescue squad. She enjoys reading, writing, volunteering, playing board games with her kids and friends, and spending quiet moments with her husband on the enormous deck he built adjacent to their home.
